Bringing Home a New Kitten
What do I need?
Don't leave it to the last minute to buy things your kitten will need as soon as they get home. Buy all the necessities first.
- Kitten litter box and litter: There are many different types of cat litter on the market, some better, some more expensive. It is best to avoid using different types of litter. Stick to one that you know the cat likes or is not uncomfortable for the cat. Litter trays come in many different shapes, sizes and colours. You can get a standard square one, or one so fancy is is built to look like a pot plant. They come hooded, covered or uncovered.
- Scratching post: Every cat needs to either sharpen their claws or blunt them down.
